Review: InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum

InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum
First Impressions:
I like using skincare serums as part of my facial skin care regime these days because I have noticed a drastic difference in how supple my skin looks. As we age or even sun exposure over time can cause your skin to become more dry. After trying InstaNatural's Pure Vitamin C Facial Toner, I decided to try their Hyaluronic Acid Serum too.

It comes in a glass blue bottle with a liquid dropper with the serum being a clear color. For a 2 oz bottle, it is more than enough product to last a year because with the liquid dropper you only need maybe 2-3 drops to cover your whole face with each application. The bottle I ordered has an expiration date of 10/2016. There is a strong scent of Witch Hazel.

Active Ingredients:
- Hyaluronic Acid: Helps skin retain moisture and stay hydrated
- Green Tea: An antioxidant that calms the skin from irritation
- Vitamin E: Reduces fine lines and wrinkles over time
- Jojoba Oil: Moisturizes and brightens skin
- Witch Hazel: Calms the skin from irritation

How To Use It:
If you heard of the typical Korean skincare regime, serums are a must to help moisturize skin after a long day. Like all serums, this one is best applied by patting it onto the face. The constant action of rubbing on the face can cause wrinkles or skin irritation so that is why you should "pat" when applying skincare serums.

After cleansing the face, pat skin dry. Take a few drops of serum and apply to the palm of your hands. Rub your hands to warm it up a bit and lightly pat onto your face, neck, and decollete. Wait a few moments and it will dry. Then follow up with your daily moisturizer.

Review:
I didn't experience skin irritation when using the InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum. It dried quicker than most serums I tried in the past. Within seconds, it absorbs into your skin. You won't be waiting 10 minutes or more for a serum to dry. The formula of this serum did not feel sticky on my skin unlike the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster, which also feels like you are waiting an eternity for it to dry.

After applying moisturizer and waking up the next day, my skin looked dewy and supple. I think it helped absorb more of the moisturizer onto my face as opposed to when I didn't apply any serum and just used only moisturizer.

Final Thoughts:
I highly recommend this product for those with drier skin types or want a surge of moisture to your skin. I liked how well it worked with my current moisturizer and it did not breakout my skin. I have not used it long enough to see a drastic disappearance in dark undereye circles and puffiness but that is another benefit advertised by the company of using this product.

With this being in a glass bottle, you do have to be careful to not knock it over or drop it. I like that it comes with a liquid dropper so you can easily get the product out and not make a huge mess dripping it everywhere. The consistency of most serums are not very friendly to the pour out method for bottles.

I like that this product is made with 100% natural and organic ingredients so no harsh chemicals. InstaNatural's Hyaluronic Serum is also free of parabens, fragrances, additives or alcohol. If you have sensitive skin then you can probably use this too.

On the Amazon product page for this product, the company InstaNatural has a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on this so if for any reason you are unhappy they will issue a refund.

  1. I haven't tried this serum from InstaNatural but I like their Age Defying Skin Clearing Serum with vitamin C, retinol & HA. I adore their Rosewater toner. I'm about to test their eye serum. Looks like they have good products at affordable prices. Yay!

    1. Yup, can't beat their prices! :D And I like they have a good refund policy on all their products. I have their Youth Eye Serum and their Vitamin C Toner. I plan to post reviews for those soon. Havn't tried the products you mentioned though. I will look them up. ^^ Thanks for stopping by Allison!

    1. With this serum, the bottle says you can use this both morning and night. If you meant skin type, their product description page says "dry and flaky skin" but my skin type is combo-oily and I didn't see any extra oiliness from using this. Thanks for the compliment! :D

  4. Hi Carol! I'm trying their Youth Express Eye Gel right now and have the eye serum on standby. I will not age gracefully, but kicking and screaming the whole way!
