Well this box took a little longer to arrive than my previous boxes and I thought it was going to get lost. However, I am so happy with the contents inside! ^^ I cannot wait to try these out! I consider myself lucky this time because I received 7 samples items in my September Birchbox to review meaning 70 birchbox points! I absolutely love the anniversary box design for this month and will definitely reuse this. For people who want to know box numbers, mine is #18. Now, onto what is inside.

What is inside my September 2014 Birchbox // intrice.blogspot.com

Samples in this month's Birchbox:
  • Acure Organics Day Cream
  • Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee Fragrance (It came with a postcard too!)
  • Davines Oi Conditioner
  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit
  • Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Ripe Raspberry
  • Bonus items:
    • Davines Oi Shampoo Packet
    • Davines Oi Oil Absolute Beautifying Potion Packet
The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser was my "sample choice pick" and I was actually between this one and the Davines Oi Conditioner but by the time I got to the website, the only thing left was Liz Earle. I was super lucky to get both in my box. Have also heard a lot about this item too. I really love the cute little box the sample came in too. It will be repurposed! :) I'll include pictures of it when I write the review.

I am very excited to try out the Davines hair care stuff because I have heard such great things about it from other reviews and in magazines. Already, I am in love with the smell of the conditioner, which came in a very generous size tub. Receiving the bonus items of the Davines shampoo and hair oil is like the cherry on top of a great box. :D

I am not too happy of getting another fragrance sample for the third..maybe fourth (?) month in a row BUT it's not so bad because I did get bonus items and my other items are all really good! The Atelier Cologne packaging for their sample is much better than other brands I received before. From appearances, I like the postcard already and their choice of using a vellum envelope to keep it all together is a very smart move. You can tell that this company put a lot of thought into their ad campaign in distributing their samples.

The Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm is another item I cannot wait to try and contemplated of buying for a long time to use for Fall weather. It is an affordable lippy that I remember is carried in Target. I think the one I received is indeed the full size so I already got $8.00 worth from this months box. (Score!) I think calculating everything else in this box, it will equal to or even be worth more than $2.00.

Finally, the last item I havn't talked about yet is the Acure Organics Day Cream. I like using organic products when I can and wanted to find a good day cream so I think the Acure Organics Day Cream is a great little addition. It's like Birchbox read my mind this month, haha.

So what did you get in your box? Are you happy about the samples?
