Review: InstaNatural Dead Sea Mud Mask

InstaNatural is an organic skincare brand that uses all natural ingredients and avoids harsh chemicals in their products. The InstaNatural Dead Sea Mud Mask is no different. I was sent a jar of the InstaNatural Dead Sea Mud Mask to test and keep. It is made from 100% Dead Sea mud, which supposedly has all the essential minerals in helping promote healthy skin.

Here are my results with photos after using it for the first time.

Other Active Ingredients:
  • Organic Shea Butter
  • Organic Jojoba Oil
  • Organic Aloe Vera
  • Organic Calendula Oil
  • Hickory Bark Extract
*All of these ingredients work towards soothing dry and irritated skin

Targets: Acne, Blemishes, Fine Lines, Wrinkles

InstaNatural Dead Sea Mud Mask

Review:
When talking about the size of the container, it is very large. I can see this jar lasting for 6 months or longer because you only need to use so little and only once a week. The consistency is similar to the Origins Charcoal Mask where its very liquidy but once it dries, it becomes hard and rough to the touch.

From reading the InstaNatural website, it looks like you can apply the InstaNatural Dead Sea Mud Mask on the body as well as the face. So for those random pimples that pop up on places besides the face, this can work as a spot treatment.

When using the face mask, all you have to do is apply a very thin layer with a clean finger or brush.
During the time I wore the mask, I could feel it slowly begin to tighten around my face as it dried. I like this feeling because its making your skin become firmer. In the before and after shots of me with the face mask, there were still parts of my face that didn't dry completely after 15 minutes because I applied too thick an amount.

I had to rinse off after the 15 minutes even with the wet spots because I could feel the dry parts becoming even drier and getting tighter. If you let a face mask that is dry start to crack on your face it could damage skin cells. There was a slight stinging or tingling on the parts of my face where I had some pimples but that was expected. I hope that this reaction was the product pulling out the bacteria and not making the pimples worse. After rinsing off the mask, I was left with a glowing complexion.

The day after, I noticed that the parts of my face that was experiencing a breakout looked better. The smaller pimples disappeared and the large one on my cheek shrunk in size by half and wasn't as swollen. I hope that after using this for a longer period of time it will lighten my facial blemishes.

With these immediate positive results, I highly recommend the InstaNatural Dead Sea Mask. Even if you don't plan to use it on your whole face, this works well to spot treat both minor and major zits to make them disappear faster. This jar will last you even longer if  you use it for just these purposes.
