Review: InstaNatural Peppermint and Lemon Essential Oil

As someone who is very interested in aromatherapy, I jumped at the chance to review these new essential oils from InstaNatural. I was given the opportunity from InstaNatural to test their Peppermint and Lemon Essential Oils and to write an honest review for my readers.

Before opening the box that the essential oils came in, I could already smell the peppermint scent. I thought the bottles got broken during shipping but both were intact. Each InstaNatural essential oil bottle comes with a dropper to easily dispense the essential oil. I think comes in handy whether you are using it in an oil burner or to fragrance your bathwater because you can get an exact amount.

InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil Review:
InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil filled half of the house with a strong peppermint fragrance after I removed the bottle from the box. If you are interested in aromatherapy, the scent of peppermint can help to relieve stress, tension, and reduce inflammation. You can use the peppermint oil as part of a massage oil to calm the senses and the nerves.

After applying a drop onto the areas of my sore muscles, I could feel the cooling peppermint sensation ease the pain. If you are sick with a congested nose, you can heat a bowl of water and then add a few drops of peppermint oil into it and breathe in the steam to open up nasal passages.

InstaNatural's Lemon Essential Oil Review:
InstaNatural's Lemon Essential Oil has that kitchen lemon scent you would find in most hand soaps. In aromatherapy, a lemon scent can be uplifting and wake you up. That is why some facial cleansers have a citrus scent.

I like that InstaNatural's Lemon Essential Oil can be used in skin care as an astringent. It can tone skin and clear acne giving your skin a boost of Vitamin C. When trying it for the first time, it stings a little bit at first like most skin toners but I could see it helping my skin in shrinking my pores on my cheeks after a day or two of application.

I also used InstaNatural's Lemon Essential Oil in my oil burner to fragrance my house. I used about 6 drops mixed with water. As the lemon essential oil heated up, it filled the house with a sweet lemon scent that lasted for at least an hour. Even without having this oil warmed, the scent was strong from the bottle and filled the room where I kept it the first day.

Final Thoughts:
I think both InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil and InstaNatual's Lemon Essential Oil are great additions to building up an aromatherapy collection. Both of these are of good quality and comes in 4 oz bottles, which can last for at least 1-2 months if used everyday.

  1. I think I'll check out the Lemon Oil - I LOVE the scent of citrus! Was it very overpowering?

    1. Not very much! It sure does smell like real lemons though. :) I think the peppermint essential oil was more overpowering than the lemon essential oil.

    1. I enjoy the lavender scents too. It does help to calm the nerves when you smell it and wonderful for inducing sleepiness.
