This my first VoxBox From Influenster and I am excited to talk about all the wonderful products in the Frosty VoxBox. I was one of 15,000 bloggers in the Influenster network selected to receive their Frosty VoxBox.

For this winter themed box, it came with a total of 8 items relating to beauty or food. In this review, I will talk about what I liked and disliked from this box. I have to say my favorite item is definitely the EcoTools Hair Brush!

1. EcoTools Hair Brush (Retails: $10.99)

EcoTools Style + Smoother Hair Brush
Before receiving this, I did not own a hair brush in this shape. The one I got in the Frosty VoxBox is their "Styler and Smoother" hair brush that does 3 jobs in one: styles, smoothes, and gently detangles.

It is a very lightweight hairbrush with super soft plastic bristles. What I liked the most about this brush is that it flexes as you brush your hair conforming to the curves of the scalp. While using this, my hair did not get tangled in the bristles and my hair strands did not get static after using this brush.

It has a comfort cushion at the base along with ball tips that gently massage the scalp as you brush your hair. I have to say that this is the first time that brushing my hair feels enjoyable. The handle design makes it easy to hold and does not feel bulky at all in your hand.

The EcoTools "Styler and Smoother" is designed with ventilation holes that they claim help dry hair 20% faster for less heat damage when used for heat styling. During winter, it takes a lot longer for my thick hair to dry so I sometimes have to blow dry my hair if it isn't dry before bed. The time it takes me to blow dry my whole head has been cut a bit shorter when using this brush.

If I didn't get this in my VoxBox, I probably would have never thought to buy an EcoTools hairbrush. So far, I am loving this hairbrush and would highly recommend it for those with thick medium to long hair that want a hairbrush that doesn't tug, give static, or get tangled in the hair. This brush can be used by all hair types.

2. NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum (Retails: $1.99)

The NYC Expert Last Lip Color is a new line of lipstick. Sugar Plum is a lovely red brown color. It can be worn as a "natural lips but better" nude shade. I think this color fits in well with the winter lipstick trends of brownish lip colors. I wouldn't label this as a vampy color though because its not that dark.

The consistency is very balmy when applied to the lips alone. This claims to last for up to 6 hours but when I used it, I would say it lasts maybe 2 hours tops. The color pay off for Sugar Plum is pretty good despite its cheap price. Reapplication is needed throughout the day because it will transfer to cups or fade when eating.

Even though NYC is in the cheaper range of drugstore brands, I think their Sugar Plum lipstick is not a bad investment for the color payoff, moisturization, and affordability.

3. Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover (Retails: $7.49)

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

There is no strong fragrance with the Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. For my sensitive eyes, I didn't find this to be irritating when removing mascara and eyeliner. The skin around my eyes didn't turn red and there was no burning sensation. It just took a few wipes and everything was taken off. I didn't have to rub the product in for it to work. I recommend this to someone looking for an affordable eye makeup remover that really works!

4. Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black (Retails: $4.49)

When buying drugstore brand eyeliners, I actually like Rimmel a lot. The color for their eyeliners in the Scandaleyes Collection are all pigmented and this black eyeliner is no exception. It is a true black with good staying power.

You really do need a good waterproof eye makeup remover (the Rimmel remover works!) to get this off. It stays put without smudging so you don't have to worry about having panda eyes by the end of the day. If you have oily eyelids like me, this one doesn't transfer to your crease.

5. No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced Serum Sachet (Full-size bottle, Retails: $22.99)

Boots No7 Advanced Protect and Perfect Serum

I received the "intense" version of the No7 Protect and Perfect Serum in a Target Beauty Box so it is good that I now have a sample of the "regular" version from my Frosty VoxBox to do a comparison. The price difference between the two serums is $7 but I am not sure what makes the "intense" version different and more expensive. This serum is supposed to be anti-aging and helping to repair wrinkles and fine lines. It claims that in just 2 weeks, it can give the appearance of younger looking skin.

6. Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea

Peppermint tea is one of my favorite drinks to have when the weather gets cold. This was my first time trying the Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea. It wasn't too minty like pure peppermint tea and you can taste a tiny bit of the green tea.

If you want a strong minty flavor then this tea won't be it. It tastes best as a hot tea as opposed to chilled. With the decaf version, the Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea can be enjoyed anytime you want without worry that it will keep you up at night. Overall, I thought the taste was okay but not something I would use to replace my regular mint tea.

7. Fruit Vines Bites - Strawberry (Retails: $1.28 -$1.79)

Fruit Vines in Strawberry

I never heard of Fruit Vines so this is the first time for me to try this brand of candy. Let me start off by telling you that this is a candy that has no nutritional value whatsoever. No vitamin C boosts or anything. It is artificially flavored strawberry and colored to look red.

Personally, I felt the taste of this candy was a lot more sour than sweet when trying this for the first time. The texture is softer than a gummy bear so it is easy to chew but it does get stuck to your teeth. The shape made me think of licorice whips but cut up into bite size pieces. In the end, I don't think I missed out on anything special.

The only "benefit" advertised is that Fruit Vines is a low in fat and low calorie snack. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone because its not really healthy, not made from real fruit juice, and it does contain high fructose corn syrup.

8. McCormick Gourmet Thyme (Retails: $4.79)

McCormick Gourmet Thyme
The McCormick Gourmet Thyme seasoning is dried thyme and it smells nice in the bottle. I was very impressed at how fragrant the thyme was even though it is dried thyme. I have used it to season my mashed potatoes and the thyme aroma is strong. I can't wait to try the McCormick Thyme seasoning with clam chowder. Will definitely be adding the McCormick brand of seasoning to my grocery list when it's time to replace stuff on the spice rack.

Have you tried any of these products from the Frosty VoxBox? What did you think of them?
